Love Your Spouse Facebook Challenge: Day 7

It’s true along the way, I broke the rules. Why? I question anything that gives my gut a poke. Always have.

It’s a quirk, possibly a strength but always a complicating element. Thankfully, it’s one that I share with my partner in crime Bello. We don’t take much for granted. You give us a simple formula, we take it, look at it and ask “does this work for me?”

In the case of the Facebook Love Your Spouse Challenge, I made it work for me by looking at it, as an opportunity to celebrate inspiring couples that Bello and I love.

I also removed the nominate two people everyday part, I’d rather celebrate then challenge. Can you imagine how bad I would be at a duel! “You’re so amazing! No, no, you go ahead, you go first, I insist.” THE WORST!

Since I did partake in the challenge in the first place, I’ll give a nod to the spirit with which it was intended on this my last day.

Today, I’ll post about Bello and I, here it goes.

I love this man. Together we travel the world and keep our dreams alive. He catches me when I trip. Teaches me to swear in Italian and teases me when I make a mess out of his language. Bello takes away my fear and replaces it with laughter. He gives me confidence to live for today. He challenges me when I get full of myself. He witnesses my life and in return, I witness his.

That’s why I married this man in front of all the people in this photo. Many of which, are the people I spoke about in the Facebook Love Your Spouse Challenge. We love all of you. You too Ayaz and Val, who dressed up in formal wear to Skype into our wedding, you Nomads!
