Liguria, Italy is home to countless summertime vacation hotspots including Sanremo, Genova, Portofino, La Spezia, and five technicolor fishing villages collectively known as Cinque Terre. It is the Cinque Terre meaning “Five Lands” that make up the most colorful, postcard-worthy section of the Ligurian coastline.

Cinque Terre Villages
Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore form a string of centuries-old seaside villages connected by two cliffside hiking paths the Sentiero Azzurro “Blue Path” and the Via dell’Amore “love path.” Each village, the walking paths, the national park, and a protected marine area.
While each village is unique in the Cinque Terre one thing they all share colorful houses, steep terraces lined with vineyards, and epic sea views. It’s no wonder the bold colors of Cinque Terre inspired one of Paolo’s most vivid Colors collections. New to ALOR Italy? Join us for our next Pictures of Italy gallery from none other than Portofino! Arguably the poshest spot on the Ligurian coast and home to the most Yachts I’ve ever seen in one tiny harbor.

I can see why those colours inspired an entire photo collection! It’s so vibrant!
It really is and the weather is almost always somehow perfect. Like sunny with a chance of birds singing!
